Brand Philosophy


忠于你的舒适:La-Z-Boy之前世界上没有功能沙发,诞生于1927年,1928年发明能调节倾斜角度的木条椅这便是功能沙发的雏形,La-Z-Boy的故事由此开始。凭借百年对舒适体验的不断追求与创新,成为美国家喻户晓的国民品牌,影响和改变了大众的生活方式,成为舒适健康代名词。

LAZBOY was born in 1927. In 1928, the invention of a wooden slat chair with an adjustable tilt angle marked the prototype of the functional sofa, and thus began the story of La-Z-Boy. With a century-long pursuit and innovation in comfort experience, it has become a household name in the United States, influencing and changing the lifestyle of the public and evolving into a synonym for comfort and health.

In 1929, they produced and named the first true sofa recliner, pioneering the era of functional sofas. In 1961, the introduction of the rocking recliner—a revolutionary product combining the functions of both a rocking chair and a recliner—further solidified their innovative legacy.

项目背景与设计思考:此次LAZBOY首家入驻高端购物中心,其选址的特殊性促使我们跳脱传统卖场思维,对品牌进行深度重塑。作为功能沙发品类的开创者,我们深入梳理了LAZBOY的百年发展脉络与产品独特性。设计的核心命题在于:如何传承品牌深厚的历史资产,同时面向更广阔的客群,打造超越预期的沉浸式体验。

Project Background and Design Thinking. This marks LAZBOY's first store opening in a luxury shopping mall. Given the distinctive nature of the location, we moved beyond traditional retail mindset to reimagine the brand. As the pioneer of functional sofas, we delved deeply into LAZBOY's century-long heritage and product uniqueness. The core design challenge was: how to inherit the brand’s rich historical legacy while appealing to a broader audience and creating an immersive experience that exceeds expectations.

叙事化场景与体验升级基于对产品体系的梳理:我们以LAZBOY几大核心系列为线索,进行了一次大胆的空间规划。我们将不同系列的功能单椅置于各自独立的主题场景中,化销售陈列为沉浸体验,使空间本身成为品牌故事与产品价值的传播媒介。

Spatial Strategy: Narrative Scenes and Experience EnhancementBased on an analysis of the product lineup, we took a bold approach to spatial planning, using LAZBOY’s core series—LuxuryLaz, ClassicLaz, RealLaz, and ModernLaz—as the guiding framework. Each series is placed within its own independent themed setting, transforming product display into immersive storytelling and turning the space itself into a medium for communicating the brand’s narrative and product value.

在每个独立的单椅场景中,座椅呈围合式布局,营造亲切、聚焦的体验氛围。场景中央巧妙设置壁炉与红酒区,营造温馨舒适的居家格调。更独特的是,当顾客躺下体验时,视线自然落于上方的展示屏,可观看该产品的介绍视频,实现身体放松与信息获取的同步。

Within each independent seating scene, chairs are arranged in a welcoming, encircling layout to create an intimate and focused atmosphere. The center of each area features a fireplace and wine display, evoking a warm, residential ambiance. A unique touch is the integration of screens above—when customers recline to experience the chair, they can naturally view product introduction videos, seamlessly blending physical comfort with informational engagement.

隐私与氛围的平衡设计场景设计兼顾开放感与私密性:外部能隐约感知内部的温馨氛围,引发探索兴趣;内部则通过半围合结构为体验者提供半私密的庇护感,提升了安心与专属的体验品质。

Balancing Privacy and AtmosphereThe design of each scene carefully balances openness and seclusion. From the outside, a hint of the interior warmth invites exploration, while inside, a semi-enclosed structure provides a sense of sheltered privacy, enhancing comfort and creating a more exclusive experience.

品牌基因的当代转译在外围独立场景的视觉表达上:我们采用“同一种语言,两种表现方式”的策略。外侧区域运用现代设计语汇,清晰呼应产品本身的当代特征;内侧区域则提炼品牌标志性字母“Z”,转化为定制化的专属图案,大幅提升了品牌在空间中的识别度,创造出强烈的视觉记忆点。

For the visual expression of the peripheral independent scenes, we adopted a strategy of “one language, two expressions.” The outer sections employ modern design vocabulary to align with the contemporary features of the products. The inner areas, however, incorporate a customized pattern derived from the brand’s distinctive letter “Z,” significantly boosting brand recognition within the space and creating a strong visual impression.

服务可见化与场域激活:我们将服务台与收银区置于显要位置,提升其可见性与可达性,确保服务能无缝覆盖整个空间。此布局不仅优化了日常运营,也为未来举办各类客户活动预留了灵活的服务与体验支点。同时增加了高定陈列区和儿童积木区,将我们的皮质通过高定区的陈列展现给客户

The service counter and checkout area are positioned prominently to ensure visibility and accessibility, allowing service to extend seamlessly throughout the space. This layout not only optimizes daily operations but also provides a flexible foundation for future customer events and experiential activities.

平行世界,自在角落在LAZBOY:调节一个角度,便切换一个世界。从端坐到完全躺平,椅子实现了物理形态的“平行”。这“平行”的姿态,开启的是不同的生活状态与沉浸场景——仿佛步入一个平行的自我时空。每一种角度,都对应一种全身心的投入,带来彻底的沉浸与放松。这便是LAZBOY为您创造的“平行世界”,于繁华之处,安放自在角落。

Concept Elevation: Parallel Worlds, Your Own CornerAt LAZBOY, adjusting an angle means entering a new world. From upright sitting to fully reclined, the chair achieves a physical “parallel” state. This parallel posture opens the door to different lifestyles and immersive scenarios—as if stepping into a parallel dimension of the self. Each angle corresponds to a state of complete engagement, offering deep immersion and relaxation. This is the “Parallel World” created by LAZBOY: a personal haven of ease within the bustle of life.

Adjustment Handle


每一款手动调节角度的LAZBOY功能沙发,侧面都配有标志性调节把手。我们将其转化为可交互的装置:轻轻旋转把手,相应的品牌视觉海报便会随之呈现,让消费者在互动中自然感知品牌故事。

Every manually adjustable LAZBOY functional sofa features a signature handle on the side. We transformed this into an interactive installation: with each turn of the handle, corresponding brand visuals are displayed, allowing customers to engage with the brand narrative through physical interaction.

LAZBOY每张沙发皆由精湛裁剪与拼接工艺制成。我们提取不同材质的工艺样板,将其重组为一件完整的艺术作品,直观展现背后蕴藏的匠心与细节。

Every LAZBOY sofa is crafted through meticulous cutting and stitching techniques. We extracted samples of different materials and assembled them into a cohesive art piece, visually conveying the craftsmanship and attention to detail behind each product.
